Tibetan wool –we materialize pure highland Tibetan wool from the high stiff mountains on the Tibetan plateau, which are rare and authentic- wool that are so rich in naturally saturated lanolin. The lanolin produces a natural strain resistance where it makes them water and dirt repellent.

It also keeps the wool from drying out over the longer period. It must be handled with care by the artisans (weavers & spinners) so that is losses none of its quality (lustrous and softness).

Within the process of handling the wool it consist of various breakdown steps to follow by the artisans – the wool is very much given care and hand segregated among the best. Then the fibres are smoothen and neaten to carry out for the Hand spinning process.

The long pass traditional technique consists of unique artistic value where every process is handily done and requires a length of time, making the yarn more textured and natural.

We understand the importance of the raw material because we know that a rug is only good as the fibre it is woven from.
