Wool Separation

Initial process where segregation of black and white wool is done.

Carding

The process of straightening and segregating the mixed up fibres of raw wool material all by hand process.

Spinning

Then the carded wool is smoothen and neaten to carry out for the Hand Spinning process. Where skill artisans are capable of producing the yarn into more texturized and in natural look appearance.

Yarn

All the Yarn are kept ready in bundle.

Dyeing

The Dye process comes with a technician Dye Master where he synchronises the colour options and the preparation of dyes.

Drying

Then the finished dyed yarns are left to dry up in the open sunlight naturally.

Balling

Once the soaking of yarn is done, they are collected and wound into balls, making it ready to be taken straight to the loom process.

Graph

A hand drawn graph is created base on the design and instruction are provided for weavers to follow according to the colour and position of every knot.

Weaving

The preparation begins at this step – where the rug/carpet is produce by skill artisans working all together on the loom following a graph. The style technique use in weaving is heritage from the Tibetan style of Rug.

Washing

The Rugs are taken care of to wash on both the sides. And squeeze through the pile with a wooden paddle and then let it to dry.

Clipping

Last touch is given to the rug by clipping the edges between different colour and pattern so as to give more subtle look and differences in pile heights are smoothed.

Shearing

After that the rugs are given a final touch with pile cut evenly to the required height by all hand.
